Advantages: Quality, value, handy

Disadvantages: You may want to pick up more than you can afford

Boots is a leading health and beauty store that can be found all over the UK and I believe in some international countries also.
Stores vary in size, from quite small to large, therefore the ranges in each differing.
My local stores are quite large and therefore have a range of products available, from the Chemist section to Photo section to Electrical to Make up and Fragrances. The ranges go from those on a budget to those with more money to spend, so something for everyone. Boots offer an own brand range as well as well known names.

At seasonal times boots offer a range of gifts in store, that step outside their standard range of products. These gifts are offer on 3 for 2 which is great, especially at Christmas time.

The list of products in store is extensive but detailed information can be found on their website:

www.boots.com

In store there is also a health advice centre where you can get leaflets and advice on aspects such as weight loss, smoking support etc.

Also in my local store there is a weighing scale machine where you can check your weight and BMI which comes in handy for myself.

What I love about Boots is that it is a reliable store that is more than likely to have what you go in for or if not a replacement product at least.
There are frequently offers on, which vary from product to product.
The quality of the own brand products are in my views excellent, and I tend to go for those rather than branded products with basic items such as cotton pads and face wipes.

I am however not so keen on the Boots range of sandwich lunches, where I find their sandwiches to be a bit dry and quite highly priced.

Boots also offers a Advantage card scheme, where you get bonus points for your shopping that can be redeemed when you get to a certain level. Currently 4 points for every £1 spent, but there are often days where you get double or triple points.

Overall Boots is a very handy store that I frequently visit.

Summary: A very handy store
