BootsNewest Review: ... that they think they will charge anything and people will pay, and most of the time they do. Boots often has very competitive prices and some great offers but now and then you can get the same item cheaper from other high street stores, so its always worth a check. I love there advantage card, probably the best on the high street with 4 points for every pound you spend and occasionally bonuses the total soon adds up and you get to treat yourself for free. You also get exclusive offers with the advantage card, that they try and tailor to your buying which means that you can pick up extra points and the occasional freebie.... more |

Boots is a great shop that offers a little bit of everything. It is the first place I will go when considering new make up or toiletries as they seem to stock everything and have incredibly knowledgeable staff who will happily help you out and point you in the right direction. I sometimes feel that because they are so well established, that they think they will charge anything and people will pay, and most of the time they do. I have to say that I hadn't been into Boots for quite some time, but a recent trip left me more than impressed. First off, Boots is a shop that sells a range of toiletries, make-up, medicine and the like. They have a pharmacy in-store, and also sell food. There is a small assortment of other things available, such as toys. The thing I like about Boots is the way they specialize in one area and then sell everything there is in that area. If you're after any type of toiletry type stuff, it's the place to go. Price-wise, it isn't cheap, and there are no bargain lines, but on the other hand all the brand names can be found there. I always ... Read the complete review

Unfortunately our local Boots store is fairly small & doesn't stock as much as the larger ones so it's a good job that I can travel in either direction by bus to the bigger ones, especially near Christmas time. Our local Boots is, like most, on the high street & has competition from Superdrug, LLoyds & Quality yet is still busy whatever time of day I go in. I can drop my prescription off whilst I have a good mooch at their merchandise & have a good look round for their offers which always seem to be available. I sometimes pick up a Meal Deal for my daughter although the choice diminishes the later in the day you go ... Read the complete review

Boots is probably one of my favourite stores, you are sure to find one on every high street or in every shopping centre. Easily recognised by the Boots logo, the dark blue oval with Boots written so fancy in a white font in the middle. This store does not specialise in one particular area, instead it caters for all near enough in many different areas. Boots originally started off as a small chemist, selling the odd nail polish or lipstick. Now it is a larger store selling many more products and brands but still keeping up the reputation with the chemist. You can purchase your lunch in their food area, from sandwiches, to small packets of fruit, ... Read the complete review

Boots is a chemist but also sells cosmetics, hair and beauty products, bath and body, baby, ophthalmologists and in larger stores, have high-end cosmetics counters where you can book make overs. Boots also have their own brand and range of products like Boots vitamins, Boots expert products that include dental care, hair removal, shampoo and face moisturisers. They also have Boots own make soaps, shampoo/ conditioners, moisturisers... They also have their own more expensive brand No7 cosmetics and their 17 range, aimed at the younger make up buying crowd. I like the fact that they have a loyalty scheme called an advantage card, where you can ... Read the complete review
