Borders Bookshop is quite similar in nature to Waterstones Bookshop. It provides a high quality environment for the customer to browse the bookshelves in peace. If you wander through the bookcases you will find books of every type.

All my favourites are there a new thriller or whodunit by some new author, or the latest escapades of The Number One Ladies Detective Agency. There are books on travel to exotic places like Cuba, the Seychelles and Torquay! Books on Languages learn French, German or Tagalog. Last but not least books about every type of computing subject, C++ programming Digital Photography or Web Design. You will also find a small selection of items suitable for gifts, like craft material such as card making kits, jigsaw puzzles and games.

At various points throughout the larger stores you may even find a few seats where you can sit with a selection of books while you make you final choices.

In the larger stores it is common to find a branch of Starbucks coffee shop where you can sit with your friends and discuss the books you are interested in while you make your choice. Borders is one of my favourite bookstores.
