Advantages: Great Food and variety

Disadvantages: Maybe a bit expensive but you get what you pay for.

I have been to Borough market about 5 or 6 times and think it is a great place to visit in London, it is located just outside London Bridge station and is a excellent place to buy all sorts of different foods. There seems to be stalls with everything you can think off, be it meats, cheeses, fish, sauces, they have everything you could want. I have watched a few food programs and it seems Borough Market is where a lot of the top chefs get their produce from. Don't get me wrong I couldn't afford to buy a lot at this market but the odd treat now and then is good, one of the things I usually end up buying here is Parmesan Reggiano and although a bit pricey it is very nice, much better than the supermarket, the stall I get it from all they sell is this cheese so you know it must be good. The market is also a great place to go for lunch, they serve loads of food to take away, their burgers are great and there is a nice little church bit at the back of the market where you can sit down and eat. If you haven't been to Borough Market, you should give it a go, it is a wonderful place to visit.
