Cancelled agreement, goods not collected, after months of phoning them to collect they issue a County Court Notice against me!!! DO NOT USE Box Clever. I rented a TV and washing machine from Box Clever. They canceled the agreement and never collected the goods. Instead they gave my details to debt collection agencies that I had to phone each time to which they responded "we get that all the time from Box Clever" and passed the debt on. Now in their infinite wisdom, despite the fact that the goods are still here waiting to be collected, Box Clever sent a County Court Notice for £1748. DO NOT USE BOXCLEVER.

The worst company i have ever come accross. Have been renting washer/drier originally radio rentals for 9 yrs. Now cancelled rental cause hav managed to buy new machine. Said they wud pick up machine, but have left messages saying i could buy the machine for £30, or if i knew someone that might want to. Do they not understand that i have bought a new one and want their rented machine taken away. They then left another message saying i could have the machine for nothing.....NO THANKYOU MACHINE DONE!!BOUGHT NEW ONE. Phoned them to say NO so they said they would pick it up as arranged. Having rented the same TV from Radio Rentals/Granada/Box Clever since August 1999 (that's over NINE years) with only one minor fault for them to fix during that period, I had paid them the value of the set about three times over. Their policy seems to be to leave your monthly rental at the same figure for ever and ever unless you phone to suggest they take the set back. If you do that then they come up with a rental reduction to entice you to stay with them. I only found that out by chance but I would recommend any long-term customer to ask for a discount. I have been a customer with them for many years. This was when it was called radio rentals. I am paying about £22 a month for tv & video. I phoned them yesterday to cancel, but they told me I could be paying £11 a month for it. They said that I should of phoned them to pay the cheaper rate. So all this time I've been paying them this amount, and they had ago saying that I should of phoned them, if am a loyal customer, they should of phoned me to let me know. Like Frank Roberts, we rented washer from BC, they mixed-up the invoicing, failed to collect the machine for 5 months, twice gave me the wrong place to return it to myself, put three DCA's onto us and then tried to charge us replacement cost for TV & VCR we'd returned previous year! Failed to reconcile final bill when they eventually collected washer. Failed to reply to three faxes in Dec 2001 & Jan2002, except to acknowledge Jan02's fax, but responded to my telephone call, telling me all sorted, we owe nowt!
