Brent Cross Shopping Centre ... around. Its 110 stores and cafes compare favourably to the 75 shops with which it opened, although it’s good to see just how many of the original retailers are still in the centre. John Lewis, Fenwick, Marks & Spencer, Boots, WH Smith, Dixons, Mothercare, Russell & Bromley and Benetton are just some of the shops which have been at Brent Cross throughout.

Newest Review: ... had a problem finding one which is nice. Brent Cross shopping centre was opened in 1976 which makes it quite old in terms of other shopping centres around the country. I would say it definitely shows its age, it's not tatty or worn down but it is fairly basic in my opinion and just build in a fairly boring way with two rows of shops, one on top of each other and then two rows either side at ... more

Brent Cross shopping Centre is conveniently located in London right off the North Circular road. You could say this is inconvenient for some as when the traffic is really bad it's very hard to get out of this shopping centre quickly and easily. Having said that it's easy to get to and offers a good range of shops. I tend to visit here once a month when I am in the area. The first nice thing about this shopping centre is that it offers free parking which is somewhat of a rarity nowadays in big shopping centres. This encourages people to go in my opinion and also does not make them cut their shopping short when they have to dash back to the car because the time ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Brent Cross - the 'other' London shopping centre (728 words)

Brent Cross Shopping Centre is located to the north of London, where the M1 meets the North Circular Road. It is the smallest and oldest of the major London shopping malls, but still has a good range of stores. The building is a bit of a concrete monstrosity being built in the 1960s, but it looks better inside that you'd expect it to look from the outside! It's no Bluewater or Westfield in terms of the design aesthetics, but it's not that bad. Getting There The easiest way to get to Brent Cross is by road, as car parking is free and plentiful. You can get there on the tube by travelling to Brent Cross Station on the Northern Line, but it is a bit of a ...  Read the complete review

What could be better that on a cold and miserable Sunday than to idly while away the hours with a gentle stroll around some entertaining and rather beautifully arranged shops? Right! I hear you say! So, from feeling refreshed as I do, from a morning’s meander down the Portobello Road, I find myself wandering dangerously near to the North side of that wonderful place we affectionately know as Londinium, (or London, to the rest of us…) After teasing my purse strings with the delights of all that modern, yet sweetly trendy Notting Hill experience, my sub conscious obviously felt a strong desire to pull me towards something that can only be described as, ...  Read the complete review

Crowned Review Shoppers Paradise or Nightmare Before Christmas? (2090 words)

I’ve been shopping at Brent Cross for the best part of 16 years but over the past years, mainly since the refurbishment a number of years back, I’m less inclined to visit. I will explain later in my review. It’s not the most attractive building in the world, in fact it’s a concrete monstrosity and not very pleasing on the eye – at least not from the outside. *** Opening Hours *** Brent Cross shopping centre is always busy regardless of time of year but there’s a time when shopping here is almost impossible, just like almost anywhere in the country – the weeks before Christmas. If you can avoid it don’t go, if you must then try either weekdays and/or ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Brent Cross Shopping Centre: A great place to visit! (601 words)

One of the most popular shopping centres a round! Brent Cross shopping centre has been a round for a very long time. Brent Cross is one of the largest stores around with the most amount of shop available. I have lived near Brent Cross for around 20 year and the whole place has change many times. At the moment the Brent Cross has several store which can be listed on the Brent Cross home page. The car park is free so you don’t have to worry about when you need to return to your car or wait to pay for the toll at the end of your day (6000 car spaces). This is a really good idea than other stores because it gives you the freedom to visit as ...  Read the complete review
