I saw an ad on a mag saying 4 vids for 12.99. I wanted them. But they were con artists. It didn't say anything about a stupid membership. Thought it was a one off. It wasn't. It came after a period of time. There was such drama with them. Bad dramas. Got an intro mag. Saying you have to buy six more fuckin vids. Fuckin hell. Money grabbers. They sent a vid I didn't order. I was 12. My mum sent it back. That was sad. Single mum. Then a bill came for fuckin 100.00. For nothing. We called them & said we got a letter saying we have to pay 100.00. Why? I talked . I'm so fed up with Britannia, Like many people, it seems, I too have had letters from a debt collection agency demanding money for a dvd that was sent to me in february, one I did not order and returned straight away. I can't get anywhere with the rude brain dead muppets at the collection agency, every time I ring I get a different story, then I get another letter adding more admin charges. Now I've been told the ammount i DO NOT owe has been written off as a unpaid debt and it will show on my credit score. britannia owed me £24.14 I got a letter from debt collector saying I owed them £24.14 but now I can prove nothing.
I will probably end up having to pay up or have a bad credit rating

What is going on with this club? I have just received a letter from a Debt Collector saying that I owe £6.49 for a dvd that I supposedly bought in June. I rang them and I'm told I had only paid £10.99 at the time and that this was the balance. They also claim that Britannia are in administration. To top it off, they then said I had to pay a fee of £2.50 as i hadn't paid it in the time set out in the letter but I rang them the same day as I got the letter!!! Surely they can't do this? Is this a scam or does this mean i have to trot off to my local solictors office?
