Advantages: 5 Cd's for the price of one
Disadvantages: pretty much a con
I recently joined Britannia. But I believe it was such a mistake. Britannia are advertied everywhere. You have a choice whether you want to order video's, DVD's, classical music or generally a mixture. Five CD's for the price or one. Sounds good. I always seem to be roped in by these sales points. But when I received the goods I was promised a free gift that I never got. I then had to pay £17.99 for the one CD. You have to buy six CD's within 2 years as a commitment. It's paying for P & P that makes each CD about £18.00. Recommended recordings are sent to you each month and if you don't return the form they will send the CD to you, which means you have to return it. There are never any new albums. They are very much in the past. I've got four more CD's to buy. The two that I have brought have cost me over £35. Right bloody rip off if you ask me!!!!

- 16/10/00 I phoned customer services today after still not receiving my 'Mystery Gift'. They offered me a CD storage holder or a mystery CD. I opted for the CD but it will probably be 'The best of Country and Western ever'. If you want some thing you have to do it your self!!! |
