I too was sent a DVD i did not order last year, and as the kids liked the film , i kept it and sent payment via cheque, which was returned to me TWICE, I went on line to pay and the web site had gone!! and then low and behold I received a bill from a debting company!! Which I paid and sent a letter requesting information from them, but I ... Read the complete review

After being a customer of Britannia (or Bclub as it now likes to be known as) for many years, I apparently missed a payment for £5.24 & was notified of this via a debt collection agency. I hadn`t received any reminders of any kind or I would of paid this measley amount. I have now probably got a black mark on my credit rating. Thanks Bclub!!!

An introductory offer to any club is only of any value if you don?t spend the rest of your membership paying extra on over priced goods to pay for the stupid thing you bought in the first place. Britannia Music Club or bclub as they are now known, at least on line, seem to be offering something only marginally away from a confidence ... Read the complete review

The reason theediscerning is titling this op with a quote from Little Voice will come clear later, when certain Monroe records are featured. That will come just before the important legal information that may help people escape the criminal tactics Britannia Music Club have employed to get members. Theediscerning first joined Britannia ... Read the complete review

Britannia Music and Video Club, a name that strikes fear into the hearts of many shoppers and sends Watchdog into a frenzy, it seems. So why exactly did I try them out? Well, it all started with a phone call. Once upon a Time ---------------------- A polite young lady (aren’t they all when they try to send you something?) ... Read the complete review

I joined the dvd club almost 2 years ago and got 4 dvd's that were £17.99 for the price of one. If you haven't been on the site, they sell dvd's for much higher than the shops and then charge a few quid postage aswell. I decided to buy a cassette for £3 now and again until I had reached 6 regular priced items, then I canceled my ... Read the complete review

What can i say except USELESS. Tried to join up 3 times. First 2 times they conveniently loose my application (i took advantage of a cock up they made and ordered a boxset). The 3rd time they "lost" my selection. How convenient. Heres how the Britannia deal works. You "buy one dvd for £17.99, and get 3 more for free". ... Read the complete review

Britannia – a name alsmot synonymos with junk mail, unwanted orders and rip-off prices. And I knew all of this before I joined. So, you may think, why on earth did I bother? Well, as you’ll all be aware I’m sure, they do these wonderful offers whereby you buy one DVD and get a load more free – in my case I ... Read the complete review

Well I admit it. I got mugged. Suckered by the promotional material from Britannia that you find in just about every magazine and daily newspaper. "Buy 4 DVD's for the price of 1!!", "4 DVDs for only 3.99 each!!" So I went ahead and joined. What an idiot I am. Just in case some don't understand Britannia run ... Read the complete review

I joined Britannia at university, and there is no doubt the opening offer is good. Usually its the case of 5 CD's for the price of 1. But watch out, you are making a commitment, which at the start seems reasonable, but in the long run you'll regret it. You have to buy 6 CD's in your first 2 years of membership. But watch ... I joined Britannia a few years back and have had problems ever since. The introductory offer was great, but they then sent a CD to me every month even if I refused it and then expected me to pay the postage for it to be sent back. The Cds they send are old and poor. Just don't even think about it, you'll get shabby service, and to top it ... Read the complete review

I rather foolishly joined the "Britannia DVD club" last year. It sounded good - 2 free DVDs, and you only have to buy a further 6 within 2 years (other clubs I'd seen needed you to buy 1 item each month..). Having heard some good things about them from people who'd joined the CD and video clubs, I thought I'd give it a whirl. ... Read the complete review

A few years ago my sister joined Brittaina music club duped by the great introductory offer. It was something like 5 cd's for the price of one. That's when Brittaina being a good deal ended. Once you have signed up to Brittaina you are in a legally binding contract forcing you to buy 6 cd's in the next two years that follows. ... Read the complete review

I joined Britannia Music nearly 2 year’s ago because of the tempting offer at the time of buying 5 CDs for the price of 1 + postage. The offers can often be found in magazines and newspapers. You may think you are getting a bargain, but in the long run you’ll probably regret it. I have never heard anyone who has a good thing to say ... Read the complete review

I joined Britannia video club after being tempted by the "amazing" offer. It consisted of 4 video's free for joining up with them as long as I purchased 4 video's over the next two years. As I am a frequent movie watcher I thought this offer was great but little was I aware of the hidden catches involved! Firstley when I ... Read the complete review

I was naïve enough to think I could join Britannia test the products out and if I did not like the service, terminate my membership. You see so many leaflets saying buy 5 CDs for £5 which is excellent. They have such a wide range of albums to chose from. So, I thought why not give it a go. I sent my details off and ... I, like thousands of others decided to join Britannia (rather foolishly) thanks to the attractive introductory offer of 6 recordings for something like £15. 'Nice' I thought and nice it was, until however, I realised the prices that they were selling regular recordings at - more expensive than Our Price in most cases, which I think is ... I joined Britannia a couple of years ago - the biggest mistake ever! The introductory offer is good but that is it! Not only do you have to pay almost £2 in P&P, but it takes over a week for your order to arrive after you have placed it! They insist on wasting money by sending you "recommended recordings". If you do not return ... Read the complete review

Talk about daylight robbery! I rather foolishly was flicking through the Sunday magazines, when I saw the usual, "Buy 1 CD get 4 free" adds, and, for some temporary moment of insanity, I sent it off! Yes, I did get the CD's I wanted.... But, not in the condition I wanted them in, i.e., new! The boxes were tattered, ... Read the complete review

I recently joined Britannia. But I believe it was such a mistake. Britannia are advertied everywhere. You have a choice whether you want to order video's, DVD's, classical music or generally a mixture. Five CD's for the price or one. Sounds good. I always seem to be roped in by these sales points. But when I ... Read the complete review
