Shopping in Cardiff in general: ... was not overly impressed with the shopping areas in Cardiff. I visited there a few weeks back and found it hard to navigate as it is quite spread out, there doesnt seem to be a distinct shopping area as the shops are interspersed with pub after pub and the area is also undergoing a regeneration whereby there are lots of good shops due, ie H&M, Peacocks, Topshop however they have not been completed yet or opened...

	What Store Ltd ... Is a huge discount shop on Newport Road in Cardiff. It is on the main stretch of large stores like Matalan and Homebase. I believe they have these stores in other towns and cities but I have only visited this one. What! is fantastic! I stumbled upon it by accident when I was looking for a rug. The side of the building had a list of things that are sold in huge letters that you can see from the road and rugs was on the list. It seemed slightly obscure because there was a very large variety of things on the list and none of it seemed to go together (rugs, kitchen ware, tools, food, stationary) but I thought I d give it a go. 	What Store Ltd ... Stores Ltd is a store that is in the same vein as other well known discount stores such as Pound Land and the Pound Store. The store near me in Cardiff was originally located in the city centre but was moved for the new St Davids 2 development and meant that the store had to be move to a new location. The new location of the store can be found on Newport Road, and area about three miles outside of the city centre. Before the store moved to its location I rarely went to the store, but because the store has moved closer to where I live I now visit the store more often. 	Crystals and Ice Bead Shop ... and Ice Bead Shop is High Street Arcade in Cardiff City Centre. The arcade is located just off St. mary s street and is a cute little old fashioned arcade full of unusual nic-nac shops and little boutiques. Crystals and Ice is about half way down and it is a sweet little blue shop crammed with lovely sparkley beads, findings, threads, ribbons and pendants. There is a little counter in the far corner of the room where someone is usually mid bangle making and between you and the counter are hundereds and hundreds of beads on display.
