I paid £30 CASH (which was accepted willingly) for a small rug from Carpet Right in the Newbury store in Berkshire. When I got it home I discovered it was not quite what I wanted.... I returned to the store for a refund TWO DAYS LATER only to be told I could only have a credit note or an exchange!!!!
I did not need either but was flatly refused my money back.
At no stage was I made aware that I could not have a refund .... before they took my money!
I am taking the matter further.
What a con, do they have to do this just to boost up their takings every month?

There are unhelpful staff, very poor communication, and a totaly unreasonable way to treat paying customers!

Summary: JUST DON'T SHOP THERE!
