I went to the Carpet right store in South Ruislip to purchase carpet for our master bedroom, they sent a person to come to our home and do an estimate, that person added the cost for an Underlay even though one wasn't needed, which I found out later when the fitter arrived.
I took back the underlay promptly to the store and explained to them why I am returning this and asked for a refund, the store manager had a go on me despite so many abuses, I was persistent so he had no other way other than to refund the money!! I would say Carpet right has to be crowned worst customer service for this year and years to come. The store manager doesn't even have basic manners towards the customers.

- 28/08/07 I can sort of agree with you about their customer service, although I'm probably being bias because it was my only experience of them...
We'd ordered some carpets for a big room, so they were coming from the factory rather than stock...a week before scheduled delivery / fitting, they rang us to say they couldn't get the carpet in time.
'No problem' we thought, give us a refund and we'll go elsewhere - we were on a deadline to get the carpets down before people moved back into the house.
Problem ? The refund would have to be by cheque, in 2 weeks time. We'd paid by credit card, so the store couldn't give us a refund - it had to come from head office.
We sorted it by choosing a different carpet that they _did_ have in stock, but it was a bit of a worry at the time. Their customer service wasn't so much bad, but not telling us what we wanted to hear.
I'd think twice about dealing again, but then I'd also think twice about carpeting such a big room! |
