I was interested in purchasing from flooring for my new flat and I thought I have a look on their internet site www.carpetright.co.uk to my delight there's a section to apply for an 10% off in store when you apply on-line plus a free estimate booking appointment page. I entered my postcode at about 9.15 this morning and approx 5 mins later, i'm not joking! my local store phoned to see when would be a convienent time to visit my flat, they're coming tomorrow morning! plus there's a 'spring sale' on and the store promised me I wouldn't be dissapointed with the current offers.

I then thought i'd have a look at Allied's site which, is very confusing to use and crashed my internet browser twice when I tried to use the design studio page!

Roll out Carpetright!!

The Estimator visited my partner and I this morning, he arrived on time and was very polite. He was pleased to tell me that he had a New Carpetright At Home van which, carries over 2000 samples on board!! this meant he could bring in the carpet samples into the flat and compare them against our existing furninshings, great! we have selected a biscuit colour carpet that looks a bit like chorded trousers, it's very sexy!

So the estimator measured up and gave us a quote for the carpet, underlay, accessories and fitting. We excepted the quote and were pleased to find out that the carpet we'd selected has 40% off on the spring sale. The only down side is that the Carpet will take about a week to arrive at our local store and we can't arrange fiting until it arrives, but it doesn't matter because it's motivated my to get the decorating done before it arrives.
