Advantages: cheap ink

Disadvantages: If the cartridges don't work - it's your problem

I popped down to my local store to get some new ink cartridges and the guy happily swapped my empty ones for some full ones. However when I got home one of my new cartridges didn't actualy work - I got a blinking light on the printer. It was then a couple of weeks before I managed to get back to the store to swap the faulty cartridge. When I explained the situation to the woman in the store she point blank refused to swap my cartridge. Because the cartridge had been left out of the printer for 2-3 weeks, most of the ink had evaprated. The girl in the store refused point blank to believe that the ink could evaporate, claimed that I must have used the ink - basically called me a liar. I even offered to bring all of the other full cartridges back to the store to prove my case - she wasn't interested. I find it amazing that in a business that relies on trust, swaps old cartridges for new ones, they basicaly offer a customer service level of zero - once you've bought their (second hand) cartridges, it's your peoblem.
