I bought a DVD player for my autistic daughter to have in the car to keep her occupiued in a nerby Cash Converters . It came with a 3 month warranty but packed up after a month. Taking it back I was given a "credit note" , though quite who it credits I don't really know! and was told that I would be contacted when another came in stock. Not suprisingly this has not happened in 3 months , though they did call to apologise last week. However every time I go in the chap I delt with seems to be on a day off and today I was told with a shrug of the shoulders that I would "have to spend it here" All I wanted was my money back to go buy a new one which I suppose I should have done in the first place. So now they have my cash and I have sweet F.A! The manager was about as unhelpful as it was possible to be. What happened to the customer being right? This shop is 30 miles from my house so it's not like I can keep going back. BE WARNED!
