CASH YOUR GOLD NOW. No; read first. I sent for their free postage paid envelope and filled it with 9ct Hallmarked gold which had been previously weighed at 73.3 grams. I had previously been offered locally prices from £275 to £375 but heard that higher prices were being paid according to adverts. I saw the advert for CASH YOUR GOLD NOW in the SUN on August 20th in which they claim "We guarantee Top payout" This claim is blatantly missleading as after receiving my parcel they sent me a cheque for only £59.28. I was alarmed and assumed there had been a mistake or worse. After a few phone calls and strongly worded emails I did receive a phone call from a director of "Intermail" presumably on behalf of VERTEX t/a Cash your gold Now of Newbury.
As a result I received an email photograph of my parcel and confirmed the contents appeared to be mine. There was no revised offer or explaination as to why their offer was so ridicuously low.
I eventually received my parcel back which contained what they weighed as only 68.93grams. Some evaporation in the system no doubt.
Clearly the operators of this company are related to Dick Turpin.
