I first visited a charity shop a few years ago, I couldn't believe the quality of some of the clothes, some were even top brand names. Most people think charity shops are just full of old clothes no one would be seen in, but if you take the time to browse there are loads of great buys. Belfast in particular has hundreds of charity shops such as save the children, oxfam and marie curie. I love charity shops in general!! As i'm a poor student I find it so hard to buy new clothes all the time!! Leading high street stores can be so expensive and the item usually only lasts one season. Charity shops are really good for finding vintage clothing which is a top trend at the minute!! Lots of choice here, I'm a devoted charity shop visitor and have been scouring the places for years, some great finds, always hoping to find that elusive something. Favourite area is Botanic, quite a few shops near each other. Save the children, War on want books, Oxfam books, Hospice shop and a couple more all within a couple of minutes of each other. The book shops are relaxing and well worth a leisurely browse, some interesting books on offer at good prices. The War on want usually has a bargain table that isnt just rubbish paperbacks but has a theme e.g classics, or Art. The Oxfam is bright and new.
