I like to shop in Claire's Accessories from time to time as I find that they have their own items that are quite unique from other stores. For example last Christmas I had to buy several presents for the 'High School Musical' brand. I had looked in other shops and department stores to see what items were on offer but I really felt that most of these were very over priced. When it came to looking in Claire's though, I noticed that lots of the items they had to offer in the 'High School Musical' brand were on a three for two offer which meant that I was getting every third item free. I used to shop here all the time when i was a young teenager as i loved the big selection of funky jewellery, hair clips and accessories. Im a really girly girl so used to love experimenting with different hairstyles and make-up so this shop was perfect for me. If you have never heard of Claires Accessories, it is a retailer of accessories and jewellery aimed mostly at young girls and young women. As a teenaged girl, you would probably expect me to love wearing makeup, love tying my hair up and buying hair accessories in general. However, I'm not into that sort of thing at all. Claire's is a shop which is mainly aimed at the sort of teenaged girl who should be wearing makeup and doing things with their hair but I still love the shop. Why, you might ask. Claires is usually absolutely packed full of jewellery, hair accessories, make up, bags and stationary. It's mainly aimed at children and teens with some ranges of products endorsed with many popular characters (eg. High School Musical, Disney, Hello Kitty etc.). They also have ranges aimed at more alternative fashion types, which many shops do not have. It's fairly affordable, more so than most other similar high street shops, with lots of offers (there is usually a 3 for 2 on earrings in my local shop). Claire's has changed since I remember back when I was teenager going in there to mooch around. It's still a popular place as the stores are easy to come across in most large towns/cities/shopping centres, though not all changes have been totally positive. Claire's was originally founded back in 1961 and has expanded to incorporate over 3,000 stores worldwide. It was, and still is, aimed at younger girls and teens, though the product ranges keep up with the fast pace of the ever-changing fashion trends.
