I used to be a regular shopper in claires however I hardly shop in there now. Claires used to sell a good selection of earings and jewelery at cheap prices but the selection isnt so good nowadays.

Recently I was looking for just plain hoop earings that werent massive. I was also looking to see if I could find some earing backs for my nan. I thought that claires would be my best bet to get some that were cheap so it wouldnt be so bad if they got wrecked at work. After visiting more than one branch of claires I gave up hope. The earings in there were tacky with weird and wonderful designs. either that or the hoops were massive. Now I know claires is aimed at teens but surley even they want to wear plain hoop earings.

Another problem with claires shops is that they are always small and easily become overcrowed. This then makes it difficult to view the products.

Summary: only visit if you want wacky jewellery
