Clark's have recently opened quite a large shop near us and I think its great. Their shoes are a definite case of you get what you pay for, they're not cheap but they are very high quality and I first made the move back from bargain basement shoe shops to Clarks when I was pregnant and thought my feet deserved the best and haven't looked ...  Read the complete review

Something happened to me recently and I dont know what it was. Maybe I just got hold, or became intolerant, but I came home with a pair of clarks shoes, deciding comfort had become a priority. After spending years in cheap, high fashion shoes which hurt my feet, I decided to grow up and took a step into my local Clarks for the first ...  Read the complete review

Firstly, let me say that this a review of children's shoes at Clarks, and not the adult selection, as I have personally never liked any of the shoes available for adults at Clarks. Growing up myself in Clarks shoes, when my children started 'cruising' I considered Clarks and Clarks only - it had to be the best for my little ones precious ...  Read the complete review

Before working for Clarks all the knowledge I had of the brand came from a few distant memories of being dragged there for new school shoes and since working for them I believe that this is still their greatest strength. I was a temporary part time employee for them over Christmas about a year ago, and whilst I remain a fan of their training, ...  Read the complete review

Clarks First baby shoes Newport Isle of Wight When my son became 12 months and started 'cruising' about the furniture we thought it was about time for his first pair of 'big boy' shoes. I was brought up in Clarks shoes, so when the time came for my sons first proper shoes, I decided to head to Clarks. The first store we used was the one in Merry Hill. The store in question was aimed solely at children, and was very spacious, and set out with children in mind. After taking a ticket, we waited about two minutes before ...  Read the complete review

We've had a few experiences of Clarks and although I love the shoes that they give you and have most sizes available, I've never been that impressed with the fitting service. The first time we went to Clarks they couldn't have been more helpful and fitted my daughters shoes perfectly. However, they only lasted a few weeks before they ...  Read the complete review

When I was little I always wore Clark's shoes as they were supposed to be the best and had a great reputation for quality and considered to be the best for measuring kids' feet. As an adult I hadn't shopped in Clarks for many Years as I considered the shoes to be old fashioned. When I had my son the most natural place in the world to ...  Read the complete review

I remember being taken to Clarks as a child for my school shoes, though rarely buy any shoes from there as an adult these days. It's a quality shop for comfy shoes and customer care but it seems somewhat limited and rather pricey for shoes you can buy elsewhere much cheaper! Clark`s was started in 1825 by Quaker brothers Cyrus and James Clark, initially they made sheepskin rugs and slippers, but eventually expanded, becoming a global shoe brand. My daughter started walking when she was about 11 months, so we thought we would go and get her measured for her first pair of shoes, now in any parents book this can be a joyous occasion, therefore you want to make the visit as smooth as it can be.
