Advantages: A huge range of quality cards to buy.

Disadvantages: Expensive.

When it comes to buying cards for special occassions I love to buy really nice cards. Arguably this is a total waste of money because they get opened, put up for a few days and are then binned. However I cannot bring myself to buy cheap cards and although there are more and more card warehouses I will still buy good, quality cards. Up until recently I would always shop at Clinton Cards, now though I have discovered Moonpig.com and I will always shop there for my cards. This isn't because I don't like Clintons, its just that I love to personalise my cards.

Clinton Cards can be found in most towns and cities. They sell cards for all occassions and also sell gifts. The best thing about Clintons is the range of cards, you can buy a card for any occassion; Birthdays, Weddings, Anniversaries, Births, Leaving Cards etc.....basically any event you need to buy a card from go to Clintons and you can buy that card. They don't just have a couple of cards per occassion they have a huge range.

The thing I also like is the quality of the cards, you can tell when a card has come from Clintons because they are really good quality.

The only complaint I could have about Clinton Cards is the price, they do sell cards as cheap as £1 but they are not usually very good. For an average size card you can expect to pay about £3 or £4 and for the larger cards anything from £5 upwards. Some of the larger cards are really nice and it is very tempting not to go and spend a fortune on them. Most of the cards I buy do cost around £4 and I know that is expensive but I love to give nice cards.

Clinton Cards also sells gift wrapping, bags and bows but again this can be expensive and I do tend to shop elsewhere for my gift wrap.

The gifts in Clinton Cards are also really nice, I just love the me2you bears and even though I am 27 I do have quite a few of these bears. You can also buy photo frames, calenders, address books and various other gifts.

When it is a special occassion ie. Mother's Day they will always have a big display of cards and gifts and it will be my first port of call when I want to buy something.

To conclude, I really think Clinton Cards is a great shop, it is expensive but you pay for what you get and in return for your money you get nice, quality cards for all occassions. I really like Clinton Cards.

Summary: Would be five stars if not for the price.
