Advantages: Quality Cards, Great Choice

Clinton Cards is a PLC company worth about 68 Million, as I write this review. It has hundreds of shops throughout the UK and was first established back in the late 1960's.

In Liverpool (which is where I live) there are at least 4 Clinton Shops that I am aware of. I have been in all of them from one time to another and find their cards and gifts top quality. There is always something for each occasion. I remember popping in once on the hope that there would be a graduation card - there was a choice of about 10. So if you really want to get a card for that special occasion this is the place to go.

They also sell gifts such as a

21 Key
Teddies
Mugs
Balloons
Invitations
Party Packs

and little gimmicky things as well for that special occasion.

One slight criticism (if you can call it that) is the price of some of the cards. I find it difficult getting a cheaper card and often have to pay over £2.50 just for a standard one. Although I appreciate you pay for quality, there are occasions when you just need a cheap card for a colleague or a distant friend. For these cards I have had to go elsewhere.

The shops I have been to in Liverpool have always been clean and stocked well. Without exception I have always found the staff to be really friendly, and help you find the card you need. With the amount of shops Clintons have nationwide you really can't be that far away from one. Recommended.
