Advantages: They have some bargains in their sale

Disadvantages: Expensive

I love trying to make peoples birthdays special, especially my family and friends. A birthday only happens once a year so you deserve to get spoiled on yours.

Clinton cards is in their words "the largest specialist retailer of greetings cards, plush merchanside and related products in the uk with over 700 shops". It seems to be everywhere i look there is a Clinton Cards shop.

The last time i was in i bought a 30th birthday card for my sister and it cost me £4.49! I think this is a ridiculous price for a card. I could have got a cheaper one but when i saw the one i bought, i knew that she would love it.

All a card really is is a piece of cardboard with a poem and a few images on it. Paying nearly £5 for a card in my book is a joke. Clintons also sell several items like Me to You bears which are really cute and mugs with your name on it.

Ive seen a lot of similar products in pound shops where you can save a lot of money if you just shop around. I will go to Clintons when they have a sale on as you can sometimes get a few bargains.

Otherwise, im going to shop elsewhere for my cards and wrapping paper.

Overpriced and not worth it!

Summary: Shop around elsewhere first

I use the shop Birthdays where you can get loads of 59p cards.

In our local Clintons they have some very good quality cards all priced at £1 which I was very impressed with
