ON MONDAY 8th NOVEMBER 2010 I PURCHASED A CARD FROM CLINTONS IN FISHERGATE PRESTON WHICH WAS ADVERTISED AT £2.85 WHEN I PAID AT THE TILL I WAS CHARGED £2.99. ON QUERYING THIS I WAS TOLD HEAD OFFICE HAD TOLD THEM THAT MORNING TO INCREASE THEIR PRICES. BY THEN IT WAS 4.00pm IN THE AFTERNOON. I THEN ASKED FOR A REFUND. HOW CAN THEY INCREASE EXISTING STOCK BY 5%. CHRISTMAS IS NOT FAR AWAY AND AT A TIME WHEN WE ARE ALL HAVING TO TIGHTEN OUR BELTS CLINTONS WILL BE MAKING A BIG PROFIT IN ALL THEIR STORES AT CUSTOMERS EXPENCE. IN FUTURE I WILL GO TO THE CARD FACTORY WHERE STAFF ARE MORE HELPFULL AND PRICES ARE MUCH MORE RESONABLE.

MY DAUGHTER BOUGHT A VERY SMALL CAKE FOR £3.99. SHE OPENED IT THE SAME DAY AND IT WAS STALE = ROCK HARD. SHE TOOK IT BACK TO THE SHOP IN BROMLEY AND THEY REFUSED TO CHANGE IT BECAUSE SHE HAD OPENED IT. HOW ELSE WAS SHE TO KNOW IT WAS STALE ?
