I never really used our Co-op until we moved house. Now it is the only shop nearby so we are regulars, and all the staff know us! The branch is only a small branch, but they do supply almost everything we need to get by on a day to day basis. They have a small supply of fresh bakery goods, which are delivered on a daily basis so you ... Read the complete review

We have a Co Op store in our town. It is not that big a store but not a tiny one either. We usually go in there for top up shopping or to see if they have any good deals going on. They have a pay point at the tobacco counter where you can pay for your gas or electric or what ever bill it is you need to do which is handy if you are up ... Read the complete review

I must admit, I've never been a huge fan of co-op - however that's changed recently. Where I grew up there was always a co-op in the village. I only ever nipped up to the village for a magazine but very rarely for anything else. I viewed it as a 'corner shop' and with that image came the view that it was more expensive that your ... I live 2 minutes from the local co op and I must say that it's come a long way over the years. One of the things that I like most about it is the range of fair-trade products and eco products both of which I am willing to pay a little more for but often it isn't the case. There are many bargains to be had if you are prepared to look ... Read the complete review

I go into the Co-Op sometimes because there's one quite near me and sometimes if I just want a couple of things I'd rather go into one of their smaller shops than traipse round the massive Tesco round the corner just to buy 5 items. The main thing with the Co-Op is that they are quite a lot more expensive than the other supermarkets on ... Read the complete review

I have two Co-ops within walking distance of me (one 5 minutes the other 15 mins) and for a small shop I find it really good. I still do my main shop at Tesco online and go to Sainsburys for extra bits and pieces so only really use the Co-op for last-minute things or if I only need a couple of bits. The shops near me are ... Read the complete review

I live about 2 minutes away from the co-op. It's a short walking distance to the shop, but I'm not mad on it because I still end up driving for ten minutes to get to the local ASDA on a regular basis instead. Unfortunately it is because it's so expensive, I would never be able to do a full shop in there, not only are the prices quite ... Read the complete review

I have 3 Co ops within a very short distance, 2 at the end of the road and 1 main one a little further out. Unfortunately this is the closest supermarket to me. I say unfortunately because it's so expensive I would never be able to do a full shop in there, I understand the range isn't very big (I nipped in the large store yesterday get ... I used to live with my parents and the town they live in has 2 places to get your food...a tiny Tesco that is cramped and offers little or a large Co-Op supermarket (other than Farmfood who only offer frozen). Towards the end of my living with my folks I was doing more and more shopping on my own and the Co-Op was my store of ... Read the complete review

There is a Co-Op store right near where we live and it is a convenient thing to have when you are in need of food items and general household products. They have a wider range of items on sale then a normal corner shop/newsagent or off licence and are also generally cheaper. They are though generally more expensive than the larger supermarkets ... The Co Op is a store that is whole owned by its members and is stated as not a profit business that is still responsible to its shareholders but with a difference, as it only answers to its own consumers. The image that is portrayed by the store is one of a wholesome family business. The Co Op, like the Spar is a convenience store, as ... Read the complete review

My local co-op is only 100 yards from my best friend's house so i do use it on a semi regular basis. It is one of the medium size supermarket stores although we do have one of the larger ones in the nearby town. I do quite often visit my local co-op as its only 100 yards from where i live. It sells a variety of items, such a food, magazines and even the odd book. Food consists of frsh bread, fresh fruit and vegetables, buscuits, chocolate, ice cream and plenty more. The only reason i shop at co-op is that its convenient as i dnt have a car and the ... We have a local Coop that is just up the road from us which I normally try and not to use but on the odd occasion when I am not so organised, I am forced to set foot inside and pay the extortionate prices that they insist on charging. I prefer to do my food shopping from large supermarkets once a week as I find it cheaper that way and also tend to do it online as I tend to experience trolley rage down the aisles of Tesco. But of course there are going to be occasions when I run out of essentials like Milk and Chocolate and Redbull (Am addicted..eek!). My ... Read the complete review

We have a small co-op store down the road, which is where I tend to pick up bits when I am coming home from work or if we fancy some sweets or an ice cream. Our local shop is a Co-operative food shop and thus far since living in the area (for nearly nine months now) we've been very impressed with what it has to offer. As a starting point it has the sole free cash machine in the area which is obviously a major benefit to it as we do live in the middle of the countryside, but obviously ... Read the complete review

Most Co-op stores are located in small towns or villages, near residential areas making them convenient if you just need to nip out for a pint of milk or a loaf of bread... presuming that you're local Co-op has any milk, or indeed any bread that's actually within its sell-by date. What the Co-op offers in convenience, it more than makes ... Read the complete review
