Advantages: Great way to save a bit of money

Disadvantages: There second, some people may not trust them

Cex is basically a second hand shop. They sell things such as video games, dvds, computer consoles, mobiles and ipods.

Its a trade in shop where you can take your old items, games for example, and get money back or use the trade in price for other things in the shop. The trade in value is always a few pounds greater that what money you get back, which i guess is how they make there money, but bare in mind that you can also take in old consoles, phones ect.

Knowing that pretty much everything in the shop is second you'd think that maybe some of the things in the shop may not work...but no need to fear! The associates in the shop make sure that everything is in working order before they put anything out on the shop floor, they also test game consoles before they give you the money to make sure they work.

When going to the shop you get a member card, this keeps any extra money from trade ins on the card for you.

I think this shop works in a great way and is good if you want to get a bargain and save a bit of cash in your pocket. The Cex shops i have been into have always had happy and helpful staff. I have yet to recieve a bad game from there, i have gotten quite a few and it hasnt happened yet!
