Cex recently opened a store where I live and I thought I'd go in and check it out!

Looks
---------
The store is well presented and looks professional there is a wealth of games for every console and even an upstairs dedicated to DVDs! There is a large counter with about 3 staff behind the till but there is no real queue structure its more of a bundle! The staff are polite and helpful and really seem to know their stuff when it comes to games.

Prices
------------
The pricing at Cex is.... well a bit weird to be honest. Some things are dirt cheap and a great bargain whereas others are a blatant rip off. They sell second hand Xbox 360 wireless adaptors for £48 but sell new ones for that aswell. They sell Xbox 360's without the hardrive and have priced the Arcade for more than a brand new one from any other shop!

Trade ins
---------------
They take phones and other electronics which is great and its good they have different grades (A/B/C) so you can get the product in a condition you are happy with. They offer both cash and exchange on your goods but you must become a member to receive these and you need to be 18+ to get the cash!


Overall
---------
A good shop and its nice to give Game and Gamestation some competition.
I will usually buy all my games from here but would buy consoles from one of the other two due to their superior offers of warranty.
