Advantages: Not many people in store so it isn't crowded I suppose
Disadvantages: Lying, thieving, rude staff
Cex are the most shifty, horrible staff people I have ever dealt with. I recently bought an Acer laptop form them, which has started crashing and shutting down for no reason, so I bring it back to the store, as anyone would.
However, after an hour test they told me nothing was wrong and I had to take it back, it was getting back home I found they had left the tests on the laptop, so I ran them and they failed!?! The most cheating, blatently criminal thing I have ever seen. Thankfully the tester was stupid enough to leave the tests on for me so I could run them myself, I have taken screencapture and photographic evidence of the fails and if I'm still not offered my money back Cex will not just be losing a customer they will be facing a court case.
Also don't try contacting them, there are NO phone numbers, at least none Cex will give customers, they're quite happy to call each other I noticed so they do have phones. All you get is email and responses from people who care less than the idiots in store.
Basically they're all full of lies, asume every customer is an idiot and try to shove you out of the door as soon as they can, also don't let them con you into accepting vouchers for anything, by law you don't have to so don't, Cex will try to push as much as possible though.
Summary: Worst treatment I have ever had by any store or company by a wide margin
