Advantages: Trade in prices, cash for your old games

Disadvantages: Expensive prices for new games

CEX is a computer store that sell games but also let you sell your own games back to them. They accept video consoles, games and even DVD's and offer you cash or trade in prices in return for them! CEX are growing day by day and getting more branches opened across the UK now. I have always found them to be good for exchanging my old games and dvds.

CEX on the other hand for prices on their video games that they sell are over priced. The average new game out there will be expensive to buy from the store all the time. The new games like Fifa 10, Pro Evo 10 and Smackdown vs Raw 2010 are all priced at 40 quid above.

I think the reason the games are priced high is because of their exchange rate prices. You can get a good amount of cash from their exchange rate when giving in your old items for trade. I find CEX to be very generous in offering a good return back to the customers. There has hardly been a time for me where the prices here have been above poor they have always been very good.

Last visit here I took my Nintendo Wii console and got 60 quid in cash for it! The price was not bad seeing as I had used the Wii for over a year now! They test them out on the spot and ask you to return back in a hour's time to test everything out. Gamestation can not handle the prices of CEX. Any one who does use Gamestation to trade in games should use CEX!

Summary: I think CEX are better than Gamestation
