i have been shopping in costco in glasgow since its opening.as a caterer i use mostly the food sections which have a wide variety.
the only thing is that the fresh meats are packed in large packs
if i am doing a small function this is no use.iwould like to see smaller packs in the chilled displays.at times i also by spirits in costco and a lot of times there cheaper to buy in supermarkets.
you would think a cash in carry would be cheaper ie 1 example morrisons selling litres of spirits for £10 costco £12 odds.also the demonstrations why are they set up in the most annoying places people like myself are on a working timescale not a family day out like some people.so when im walking about with a large trolly spending thousands of pounds a year it would be nice to get into the food sections rather than wait ten minutes while all the freeloaders fill there faces with free samples.why cant the sample tables be put at the main door and give the working people peace to get on with there job.
