I am an art teacher and I've used a lot of bargain equipment with my classes. The reason for this is mainly down to budgetary requirements and not being able to spent too much on the classes that we have. A lot of the coloured pencils we have used have been pretty poor, with the quality of the lead being next to useless. If you are going to be buying crayons, pencils or other art and craft items for your kids or grand kids this Christmas then make it crayola art and craft stuff. Crayola used to be seen as very expensive alongside the other brands but this is not really so anymore, yes they may be a few pence more but they are of much better quality and design. Crayola also have the best ideas around when it comes to different things to keep art exciting for kids and their range is always growing and getting better. You can find Crayola products in almost every store that sells toys, such as supermarkets like Tesco and asda, Woolworths and the early learning centre. ... Read the complete review

I have two young children and I find that crayola is a great company. I always buy my girls Crayola art things. I find them to be great value for money. I have bought the art sets for around £6. My favourite is the mess free painting. There are two different types. The first one is where you have the colour free marker pens that when they come to contact with the paper, colour appears. Also the colour free paint that is like wax that you apply with a sponge. I like the pens better as the wax does get a little messy particular with younger children. I like the idea that crayola have art items suitable for children over the age of 1. I find this very useful as ... Read the complete review

Crayola make a large variety of colouring pencils, crayons, felts, colouring books, paints and other art accessories. My children have a bad habbit of colouring on my walls and wholst in woolworths early last year i spotted a mess free colouring kit by crayola, it contains a colouring book and felt pens, somehow the pens only work on the colouring book that comes with the pack and wont transfer any where else. I thought this was brilliant as it only costs £5 to keep my daughters entertained and my walls pen free. Some one brought my daughters a crayola art studio for christmas which is a fold out case with pens, crayons, pencils and ... Read the complete review

A famous art supplier for young kids or really any age. An American named company where all the products are made in Italy. They always think of safety for children and help for parents. Their supplies are always washable, well usually and they are all non-toxic. Crayola products are sold in many big shops where there are pen/pencil sections. The Crayola logo is always easy to spot the yellow background and green writing gives it away. They have been making art supplies for ages and still they are deciding on new ones.
