Advantages: Its huge

Disadvantages: Some bits are expensive

I have worked at deb's for about a year or so when I was doing A-levels. I worked in the cafe as a " Food Adviser" (I washed the pots). I have lso shopped there many times and thought id write a review.

The shop itself is a megastore. It sells loads and loads of stuff. Here are a few things you can expect :
Mens clothing
Womens clothing
Kids clothing

The clothing is a mix of designers and a few brands that you will only find in Debs. There are concession stands throughout the store like topshop etc.

Gadgets
bridalwear
jewelery
Theres usually a cafe
perfume & makeup
Shoes
There is sometimes an early learning centre
Kitchen and home goods
They also will sell seasonal items like crimbo decorations

Overall a big selection of quality products. There are plenty ofnamed brands and enough to keep you routing for ages! They also have sales on whenever they feel like it. Near christmas they have a really good sale where you will get some real bargains!

The staff are pretty good. They are helpful and usually know what they are on about. Sometimes on the weekend it ay be over staffed with bored teenagers (i.e me) but they still will help!

For me its perfect. I hate having to go in loads of different stores and never find what im looking for. Here there is a huge selction under one roof (theres millions says geoffrey).

When I was working there I had mixed experiances. Firstly they treat staff well. You get paid well but i dont remeber the bonus's being very good. You get a cafe for staff and everyone is reasonably friendly. I started by washing pots and cleaning tables. Then I was moved up to cooking the food (not sure why). This is back when the cafe was runnish and over priced. If there is one bad bit its the cafe. Everything is clean and stuff its just expensive and not the best food in the world. I left because my exams were coming up and my manager was being...ill say silly so as not to offend!

Its a good store. I wont be going back to work there anytime soon but I still shop there!
