Advantages: Lovely wide ranges

Disadvantages: Not all stores are well laid out

I am a big fan of Debenhams and I'm so pleased that I now have one in my local town of Hemel Hempstead. They constantly seem to be having sales at the moment which is great for me! I've picked up loads of bargains, clothes and shoes and handbags!

They have a very wide range of products. In my local store there is cosmetics, perfume, jewellery, handbags and the mens section downstairs on the groundfloor. The first floor has womanswear. The second floor has kitchenware, bedding, a wedding section, luggage, childrenswear, toys and a really nice cafe. Then they have nice toilets on the third floor!

I have been to other Debenhams that aren't so well structured and difficult to navigate like the one in Luton.

I find all the clothes are really well made and hard wearing, some are a bit overpriced though. I like the home section as they do nice ornaments, vases and i've recently seen a mirror I have fallen in love with.

The duvets are quite well priced in the sale, I wanted a feather down one and am glad I didn't buy one at full price. They have nice bedding but I find that quite expensive even in the sales.

They have lots of changing rooms and places to pay which is good to reduce queues. The cafe is nice and clean and do nice food and drinks at reasonable prices too.

Summary: Great in the sales!
