I mainly go into Debenhams because they actually go as low as a size 28 Inch Pair of jeans and they are costed as low as £25 per pair on the Red Herring Brands which are quite good grade jeans.
The layout of Debenhams is a lot more spacious and set out in an orderly way such as all coats in one area, all jeans brands in one area. It makes it a lot simpler for me.
Among trousers, they sell T-shirts from around £15 to Sandals for £28. They also sell some other beach products before summer like goggles and snorkal.
There is a large cosmetics and perfume area which are reasonably priced.
The Customer service at Stockport Debenhams is quite good, they let you browse and don't come up to you and start hounding you like some shops. I took a pair of jeans back once as I hadn't tried them on in the changing rooms and I also didn't have my receipt but they were happy to change the pair for a different size which was great.
I have bought most of my coats from here, in specifics a Maine Coat. They are quality and mine was waterproof with a compass which I've had for 7 years and still works well.
You will also find a selection of gifts for your friends and for the home and also giftcards.
The Heating of the stores are also important to me because as soon as about 5 minutes if any shop is too hot then I'm out of there but Debenhams are usually cool.
