After my wedding last year my worst experience has certainly been getting my presents from the wedding lists my husband and I chose.
We split the list as couldn't find a shop that covered everything we wanted at sensible prices, this was becaus eJohn Lewis was fully booked.
So we went with the GTC and the Wedding List Co, both in London. The wedding was 5 months ago and we are still waiting for items from both companies. The customer service has been shocking,. Very good at apologising (lots of practice) Wedding list co is still using a 1999 catalogue and not giving you up to date prices - this just happens to your guests when they buy off the web...GTC sent 3 or 4 items that were sub-standard or broken and the whole ordeal has left me wishing we hadn't done a list at all!
