I want to say that i have only had positive experiences from shopping at decathlon. I can't common on the quality of their bikes as i haven't bought one but a friend who has hasn't had any problems so far. I can comment on their camping and sports equipment, its fantastic. I have a 2/3 man tent which i bought two years ago and it is a brilliant lightweight tent and was a bargain. I have also bought other camping stuff like rucksacks, rollmats, camping chairs, sleeping bags etc and i have always been happy with both the quality and the price.
The majority of the stuff is decathlons own brand and generall the quality is very good. It is great for people who are starting in out in sports or finding it hard to get equipment for a less mainstream sport. It has meet all my needs and more. The shop is massive and has a huge range in sports and products, everything from wet suits and buoyancy aides to multigyms and rockclimbing ropes. Me and my friends always have to resist the urge to buy a massive inflatible canoe and scuba gear everytime we visit.

Summary: incredible range of sports covered and a great place to get good quality gear at a good price
