Newest Review: ... the salesperson to go through with the purchase; I just simply changed my mind. I contacted DFS by phone the following day and informed them I had changed my mind. I didn't have to give a reason and they just refunded my credit card. Simple. So, down to the purpose of me writing this review and the reason why I don't recommend DFS. My Husband and I went back to DFS and decided on a different sofa. Purchasing my sofas was very easy. We sat with the salesperson in the showroom and filled out all the relevant order forms and payment details. We were told that the sofas were 'made to order' and will arrive 5 weeks after purchase - the s... more

I am sure that there aren't many people out there who haven't heard of DFS. If you haven't heard of them, they are a large sofa company. There are over 70 DFS stores in the UK and you are able to order sofas in store or online. You can't dispute that DFS have a huge range of sofas destined to suit almost anyone. Whether you want plain leather, fabric or suede or feel like something quite bold, coloured or patterned, there is bound to be a sofa for you at DFS. DFS use the expertise of 6 Designers, the most famous being Linda Barker. At the moment you just can't seem to get away from DFS adverts - they are everywhere and are very annoying and cringe-worthy. ...  Read the complete review

DFS is an very large sofa retailer in the uk, with many many showrooms scattered across our isles it is not much wonder that it is such a popular place, not to mention the constant unstoppable adverts on TV for every season and holiday. The ads caught my eye when I was preparing to move into my new house and like many others the intrest free credit deals with nothing to pay for 12 months etc sound extremley appealing! So, when my partner and I visited our local store on the Boucher Road, Belfast, we browsed the large sofa showroom taking in all the different sofas which all admittedly looked attractive, blending in with their pretend home ...  Read the complete review

Express Review on DFS

(DFS )DEFINITELY FAULTY SOFAS

we were lured into buying two leather sofas on their half price deals around 5 years ago.... both even post sale were around £900 each.

When delivered one has a large dent in it so I refused deliver only to have the same sofa redelivered with the explanation it would pop back out... it never fully recovered inside of 18 months ( and outside of warranty) the leather creased and folded and peeled from the inner skin ( horrible) the arms rests have permanently dipped and no wonder as on closer inspection the carcass is MDF and hardboard- the central support having sheared off with nothing more than standard use.

NEVER NEVER NEVER GO TO THIS COMPANY- OVERPRICED TUT!

Premium Review Nationwide furniture retailer (215 words)

DFS is a large retailer of furniture with branches throughout the UK. Whether you're looking for a new sofa or maybe a dining table, DFS could have what you're looking for, but are the bargains on offer really as good as they would have you believe? When you walk around the store, you'll notice loads of reductions on the furniture from it's original RRP price making everything seem such a great buy. Don't bee fooled by this as the products were probably never even sold at the stated RRP price. Also you'll notice certain offers which are on which will end at 4pm on Sunday, this is always a regular thing too. Regardless of price issues, the quality of ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review DFS: Durable Family Sofas (234 words)

We bought our first sofa from DFS 7 years ago and we are still very happy with it. We did a buy now pay next year deal, which was ideal as we were just setting up our first home. We paid just under £1000 for the 2, which we thought was good value as the quality, style and size of the sofas was the best around. We received good service, which wasn't too pushy, but just helpful enough to get us what we wanted. Or sofas contend with... 2 young boys (and their friends) a dog, a cat, house rabbit, food, drink, parties, and often acts like... a bed, a trampoline, a rocket launch pad (by my 2 yr old), a dance stage and a snuggly up chair for all of us. ...  Read the complete review
