Advantages: nice staff

Disadvantages: not as many products as other stores

DFS has stores all over the UK. They sell a range of furniture from dining sets to sofas and beds. The stores are usually in out of town shopping areas where there is pleanty of free parking. Stores are open 7 days a week, often late night on weekdays.

After recently purchasing a new house my other half thought it about time we purchased a new sofa. After hours of trawling over internet sites and round stores we stumbled into DFS. Unfortunatly this wasnt where we bought our sofa from but we had a good experience here anyway.

Upon entering a pleasant man asked us if we were looking for anything in particular. When we told him it was a sofa we were after he told us about the different options and left us alone. At no point did we feel pressured into buying anything which was good. The range seemed ok but just didnt have what we wanted - had they have had it i would have had no problem buying from DFS.

Overall i thought the company was pretty good. The staff were friendly and knowledgable and the shop was pleasant and well designed. I would buy from them in the future.
