£800 laptop left in our recycling bin. Not really a reassuring service. Also, customer service email (customer.services@dixons.co.uk) is an unmonitored account and the order tracking service is non existent. Would the option have been possible I would have paid for a known/reliable carrier. The email confirmation of the order just said "Your products will be delivered to you". I was hoping some indication of when, how etc... The 08445611111 telephone number number explicitly states that they will contact you with these details. Basically if you are ordering from www.Dixons.co.uk you can only expect that your goods are dumped inappropriately on your ... Read the complete review

Dixons is part of the DSG group, that owns currey's and PC world. However they are an online only company, with the intention of undercutting there competitors. A warning- Dixons often appear to undercut their competitors, when almost like for like products such as branded TV's are compared against the Curry and pcworld stores! However, these are "special" models, which have small cuts made to their specifications, so that they can be sold cheaper than the near specification models that are more openly sold on the market. I recently phoned Mastercare to apply for the extended warranty for the TV that I purchased from Dixons, after successfully completing the agreement I was offered an extended warranty for my fridge/freezer by the sales representative for just £15 per year. Anyway as I have an integrated fridge and freezer which are built in to my kitchen units I decided to opt for the ... Read the complete review

Unfortunately there isn't the facility to award zero stars to this disreputable, disorganised, phantom company, who are truly deserving of such a rating. If you are even contemplating dealing with this company you would be well advised to think again. If you are of the belief you have secured a product at a reasonable price from them, rest assured the reality of dealing with Dixons will soon send your blood pressure skyward. DO NOT TOUCH THEM WITH A BARGE POLE.
