Advantages: NONE
Disadvantages: HATE THEIR CUSTOMERS. INCOMPETENT.
I hate Dixons.
They have 200 quid of my money and I have a knackered DVD recorder. Phonoing them was a waste of time. It took me 45 minutes to get to speak to someone in the right department. It has taken them more than a weak to pick the faulty product up (I'm still stuck with it). The support emails are rarely answered, or answered patronisingly. I wouldn't p*** on Dixons online if it was on fire. I have spoken to trading standards and told Dixons that if they don't refund me within seven days I will take them to court, regardless of whether or not they have bothered to pick up their faulty equipment yet.
It angers me. I am spending my time and they have got my money. The people who are ignoring my emails have all the time in the world, but just can't be bothered to do their job, and 200 quid is a lot of money to me but absolute peanuts to an evil big corp like Dixons.
I do a lot of purchasing for work and I have never had a retailer, online or otherwise treat me as shoddily as Dixons. I shouldn't be worried about my money, bacause surely Dixons wouldn't stiff me would they ? And yet I have a sick feeling like I just bought a dodgy timeshare.
Dixons sucks big time. Dealing with them is not worth the stress.
Summary: Give me back the 200 quid you have thieved from me
