BEWARE - £300 COVERPLAN NOT WORTH THE PAPER ITS WRITTEN ON (Dixons)

Disadvantages: THEY WILL DO AND SAY ANYTHING TO GET OUT OF HONOURING THE CONTRACT

I bought an ex display plasma tv from Dixons 3 yrs ago (£1500)and bought a 3 yr coverplan for £300. The sales advisor told me that even if the picture had deteriorated slightly they would be obliged to fix the problem and as technology would be that much improved in 3 years would probably just replace the TV.
The TV after 3 years has black horizontal lines, washy appearance and halo like appearance around things for a short period.
Guess what - Nobody is interested. The 'tech guys' came and told me it was the ariel and asked 'how many black lines were there?'
Wouldn't go near them ever again!! As for their coverplan it was mis sold and they obviously have no intention of honouring it so is not worth the paper it is written on.
Beware - go somewhere else is my advice to you. xx xx xx
