Product was cheapest available anywhere, purchased during a "free delivery" period for delivery on a monday - received an email stating I would have to check a website after 9pm the day before my delivery (on a Sunday - surely not!) Lo and behold Sunday evening I was advised the dishwasher would be delivered between 12:30 and 16:30 - not best as no one would be in from 2:30 to 3:30 (school runs) but at exactly 12:30 the delivery driver arrived with a colleague who assisted placing the dishwasher in the kitchen, removed all of the unneccessary packaging and allowed my wife to check for damage, she then had to sign that the item was delivered, that the item was not damaged and that the house was not damaged by the delivery team. What more could anyone possibly want???

If at all possible avoid ordering from Dixons as long as they are using Business Post as their delivery service... We ordered a Wii plus some extras from Dixons and paid extra for express delivery (within a 4 hour time slot). It is now 4 days later and finally there is an update for our delivery... saying that it was not delivered ...

Ordered LCD tv and it arrived on time. When I unpacked it I found its stand damaged. Contacted them for a replacement and was given a collection/relplacement date. The day came and went with no collection. Contacted Dixons again and was told I never contacted them the first time by a very cheeky assistant. he said item was out of stock and would not be arriving shortly so said I would get refund when tv is returned. Next day the item was in stock on their site so I called back. This time i got a veryhelpful assistant who helped sort it out. Now waiting for collection and replacement when its returned.

I bought a satnav from Dixons. Price was good and it arrived in the time they said it would. They used DHL, a courier that seems to be better than average in my area. So far so good. No complaints.

I ordered an 8GB Ipod nano 11 days ago and I am yet to recieve my order which is supposed to be recieved within five working days. After telephoning the after sales team they were very unhelpful telling me that it 'possibly' will come today. I am very frustrated. The discount on the ipod and accessories was not worth the extra hassel.
