Advantages: Excellent value for money, long lasting and warm!

Disadvantages: It can take a while to wear them in, as the leather is quite tough, but softer ones are acailable

Doc Martens are really the best boots I have ever worn. Firstly, my last pair were to comfy I hardly took them off, and as for hard-wearing, they lasted an astonishing 9 years! You are more likely to grow out of these boots than they are to give way! And i can testify to their survival everywhere from mountain hikes to the mosh pit and mud-soaked Glastonbury festival. My only concern was the lack of outlets stocking these shoes, i had to search for several shopping trips before purchasing my most recent pair. But it has definitely been worth the wait, and i'm sure i'll be wearing them for a long time!!
