Take your average kinda trendy shoe shop, fill it with average trendy shoes and you get what is already all over the high street. What shopaholics like me need is something with a difference.

On the face of it, Dolcis is just the same as every other shoe shop, with your little teeny boppers trying on shoes that they'd break their ankles in and their grandparents would dispair of them wearing, but if you add a touch of class to the shoes, then you lose the annoying brats (which some might say are cute)and have a respectable shoe shop, for people of a wider age group. Dolcis manages this with fairly high quality at good prices, and the shoes look a little more than high street if you hunt for the good buys. What more do you expect from the high street?

Well there is one more ingredient that makes this my favourite shoe shop and that has to be the ongoing sales they have... don't just walk past that rack at the doorway, which you think is blocking your way to the real bargains... they are there!!! Most of it really should be in the sale because they've taken the trendy bit too far with them, but a few really scream bargain to me... i got a pair of sequin sandals for £12.99 in london the other day. I had to buy them!!!

The only bad thing about this chain is that there isn't enough of them round the country. I live near norwich and there is no longer one there, so I have to wait till i am working in london to go there, but its worth the wait!!!
