The Dolls House Emporium is tucked away on a trading estate at Codnor Gate, Derbyshire, so if you live within driving distance then make sure that you take a look on the Internet to check where you are going first and make sure that you jot down the route. The Dolls House Emporium is quite a large unit and they have ample parking that is easily accessible andf if you have any mobility problems it is good to know that you can park fairly near to the entrance. Dolls Houses are fascinating and the Emporium is one of the World's leading suppliers of all things miniature. I suppose there are many people that would think that dolls houses are strictly for the ... Read the complete review

I first discovered the Dolls House Emporium at around 12years old, when a shop selling their products opened in our town. Not realising there was a whole adult world of dolls house products before then, I was thrilled to finally find a hobby that seemingly suited me to a t. After visiting this shop, which only carried a small range of their products, I went on to the website- wow, a whole new world opened up, from miniature bathrooms, to toasters, even down to little carrots and eggs. They have collectors houses, childrens houses and more accesories than you could ever imagine along with figures and dolls, lighting, wallpapers..... everything you could ever want for a dolls house. After admiring the website for a long time I finally purchased one of the large childrens dolls house last year (orchard house) for my daughters birthday and although it cost quite a bit of money (about £280 with all the furniture) it was definitely worth every penny. It's sturdy, it's beautifully made and it took no time to put together as the instructions were clear ... Read the complete review

This is on the list of companies I regularly end up buying from in order to get the younger sister Christmas and birthday presents. Dolls House Emporium is one of the biggest dolls house/dolls house furniture manufacturers in the UK, and you can find their stuff online (www.dollshouse.com) or in most dolls house shops. They supply... well, I'd like to say "everything". They have a collectors range, and a children's range and their stock ranges from dolls houses, to furniture and dolls, to house plans if you're feeling a little more adventurous. Their stuff is generally of good quality - at least I've never heard the younger sister complain ... Read the complete review

SHOP You may have seen the Dolls House Emporium advertised in hobby magazines etc, or seen their products for sale in shops which sell dolls house furniture etc. However, did you know that you can actually visit the Dolls House Emporium shop which is based in Ripley in Derbyshire. Situated on an industrial estate at High Holborn Road, the Dolls House Emporium shop is nothing to look at from the outside. Indeed, it looks just like an ordinary warehouse building, with a spacious car park in front. But once inside it is a delight for dolls' house enthusiasts, young or old. CHILDHOOD DREAM When I was small my older sister had a ... Read the complete review
