Advantages: Great dresses and student discount

Disadvantages: Quite expensive without the discount

Envy is a great clothes shop for men and women. Its a chain and I have been in branches in Leeds and Southampton.

The shop in Leeds stocks brands such as playboy, bench, firetrap and other brands. Downstairs is the mens section which I walk past very quickly to the stairs to the womens section.

The womens section is quite small, so they dont have too many clothes to look at. There are a few changing rooms which are never full so you dont really have to queue to try clothes on.

They usually have some sort of sale on for the women, and you can get some good brands if you are either a 6 or a 12. Most sizes in between seem to disappear very quickly.

The staff in the Leeds store are very helpful and will find you another size if you are in the changing room, although the shop is small enough that you can just get another size whilst your still wearing the wrong one!

The shop is quite squished as they have tried to get as many clothes in as possible, but the clothes are hung up neatly and its not like a jumble sale as in Primark.

I think this shop is best for going out dresses and tops, as they are very dressy and look good when out in bars and clubs. I wouldnt really buy day clothes from here apart from jeans and skirts as everything is too dressy or the wrong sort of looking material for sunlight!

They do a student discount of 10% on full priced clothes, so even though some of the clothes are quite expensive you can still get a reduced price if your a student (which there are a lot of in Leeds and Southampton).

Summary: I love this shop!
