EtamNewest Review: ... cater for the younger shoppers who like to shop around but had to miss out. Etam has some nice clothes and they don't usually mass produce like some cheap highstreet shops and the prices are reasonable. Jeans can be about £30 and tops can be about £8 depending on if it is evening wear or casual. I didn't have a lot of money one day so I went shopping and I liked the appearance of the shop there was a huge range to choose from and every area of the shop put together by either colour or evening/ plain clothing. There is usually an underwear section and jewellery and shoes. Etam also have + sizes for those 16+ but they still sel 16... more |

Etam has always in my opinion been considered a shop for the more mature shoppers in the world but I would like to forget that thought. I love to buy expensive clothes but once in a while I do like to customise some clothes and make them my own because individuality is something I am a fan of. I do like some highstreet shops and Etam would not normally be on my main list of shops to visit but I did walk in recently and was surprised by what I saw. There are Etams all around the country and from my experience of shopping there usually there is always A Tammy shop beside it. It is not as fashionable as Topshop, and also it is not good value considering the prices of New Look & Mark One. Which also better quality, fit and a more fashionable product compared to the others. The one advantage to Etam is its Plus range it offers a fashionable product in larger sizes, however now with the launch of Inspire in New Look (sizes 18 - 26) it looks to face some stiff competition as their product offer is much better. I think that Etam needs more direction, it needs to decide what it is selling whether it ... Read the complete review

I spotted a girl in a bar and had to ask her where she got her top from, as you do! 'Etam' she said, 'No, never!', I said. I couldn't believe it. I had never shopped in Etam before, and the next day off I went into the store to purchase the top. Different colours too, even better. I also was tempted into buying some trousers. I wore the trousers once, the label said a 40 degree wash. I handwashed them as my machine had broken. They SHRUNK! Fair enough, sometimes these things happen, although hand wash is a gentle wash! I had the receipt and took the trousers back within the specified time, in order to get my money ... Read the complete review
