Evans is a women's clothes shop in Britain
Evans formally called Evans Outsized, is owned by the Arcadia Group who also own Burton and Dorothy Perkins.
Evans is a shop that specializes in women's clothes from size 14 to 32, and is a very popular shoe with us larger ladies.
As well as selling clothes, Evans sells shoes which come in wide fit and accessories where the necklaces and thing are a little large to fit ample bodies.
I use to shop at Evans for all my clothing needs (was a very large teenager). I still shop in Evans from time to time if I cant find some thing in another store.
The stores them self's are always bright and airy. With the clothes well displayed. The big plus point for a larger lady is that the staff are never size 10 model type people (I don't know if this is part of the job description) and also the changing rooms are larger than standard changing rooms.
The staff have all ways been very helpful to me. The clothes in Evans are modern, wonder quality and made to fit a plus size lady not just small clothes made bigger.
The down size of Evans is that the clothes are expensive they are made to last and this is great if you buying some thing like jeans or trousers that can be worn loads and last for yrs. I do have Evans black trousers that are 3 yrs old and look good as new. But some times we just want some thing that will last one season or for going out once, for this I do try to avoid Evans as just cant afford them
Over all the quality of Evans is brilliant but the price is high
Summary: great for clothes that u want to last for years
