Advantages: Good selection of clothes, sizes 14-32 available, lovely accessories and handbags
Disadvantages: Can be expensive
I was out shopping in the centre of Belfast today and when i went into Castlecourt shopping centre i walked past this shop. Ive only ever been in it before a few times during the sale.
The first time was to buy a gorgeous purple scarf at £3 (which i still have and has lasted ages!) and the second time was to buy a really nice red handbag at £8.
If you have never heard of Evans, it is a plus size retailer of womens clothing. It specialises in fashion from sizes 14-32.
I remember when their sizes started at a size 18 so they must have reduced the starting size to give a greater number of women more choice.
I noticed today when i was walking past that there is a 20% off sale until midnight tomorrow night.
I decided to go in and have a little look at the jewellery. There was a lot of nice stuff but as im a bit skint i decided not to buy anything especially as christmas is getting closer.
I usually feel quite guilty buying myself things when i know im going to need the money for bills or to buy other people presents for christmas.
I also noticed some nice clothes that were in the Beth Ditto range. I didnt even know she had a range here so that was a nice surprise as all of the things are really nice.
Overall i think Evans products are really lovely but i think some of their clothes can be a little bit too expensive for me.
I have put on weight but i wouldnt like too put on so much weight that i would have to buy all my clothes out of here as i like having more choice with clothes.
A good shop for larger women but as im trying to lose weight, i hope i wont have to shop for clothes in here very often.
Summary: Check it out
