At last - a company who realise that just because you are a size 16+, you still want fashionable clothing, of good quality and at an affordable price. I have been shopping at Evans for 8 years now, at first in the stores, but now from their Evans Direct Catalogue, and from their website at www.evans.ltd.uk.

Being something of a slob, my usual attire is t-shirts & shorts, with jumpers and leggings in winter. I can find all these basic items at Evans, usually in well designed fabrics, and a wide range of colours.

However, when I need something slightly more special, or out of the ordinary, my local Evans usually can oblige. Their East Coast range is great for jeans, denim shirts, and some T-shirts and jumpers, while their Se7en range is good for those who want something trendier and more in keeping with current fashions.

I've just reieved the Evans Direct winter catalogue, and it's fabulous. Lots of neutral colours, and leather features quite heavily, which although I wouldn't usually wear it, has me debating over a leather coat I saw. There are good selections of casual and smart clothes this season, and nice accessories as well.

Ordering from the catalogue is particularly easy, with their telephone lines open from 8am to 9pm seven days a week, or you can order by post or fax.

And for those of you who shop at Sainsburys, you can pay for your Evans order with the Sainsburys Reward Card vouchers, each of which is worth £5 off your Evans order.

Customer service is always good at Evans, their changing rooms are reasonably sized, with good lighting, mirrors and hooks, and their stores are usually well laid out, clean and tidy. What more could I ask for?
